Our new logo can now be seen as a floral display in the Tower Garden’s, next to the library. We would encourage you to see this glorious display which has been beautifully created by the West Norfolk & King’s Lynn Borough Council Parks Department.
The King’s Lynn Society of Arts and Sciences was formed in 1913 for “the encouragement and pursuit of arts and sciences”.
It will celebrate its centenary in June 2013 so we are busy planning a year of special events to mark this momentous occasion.
Subjects and speakers are wide and varied within the remit of Arts and Sciences, and the Committee endeavours to provide something for everyone with some unusual titles to grab the imagination. Our aim is to be informative and entertaining.
The year’s programme can be viewed in the Lecture Programme and we would be delighted to welcome you. Annual membership, which would have cost you 1/- in 1913, is now £14 per person and visitors pay £4 (not 6d) on arrival and can join at any time.
See the Membership Page for more details.
